2016 Kia Sorento Gets an HID Kit!

So after a few failed attempts at installing the cheap HID kits commonly found on the 'big auction' sites, i finally bit the bullet and visited www.TheRetrofitSource.com and ordered their infamous Morimoto 35watt kits.

I chose the H11a, 35watt (to keep the heat down) along with 4500k bulbs (for optimal light output). Along with your kit, you have the option to order a standard double-relay wiring harness, or a small CANBUS. In our particular car, you need the CANBUS to remove the "headlight out" warning. I placed my order on Wednesday, and by Monday afternoon, along with my mail, was the package containing the HID kit. Super fast shipping from their home-base in ATL,GA to my hometown in the Atlantic Coast.

Installing the HID kit was a breeze. just align each plug where it belongs and pop in your bulb. I decided to install one side first, and compare the new Morimoto kit to the cheap 'auction' kit.
